Hey so my fever is turning into the plague. I have vommitted up stuff you don't want to know but it is some blood. (Note I am not a vampire so this is a bad thing). My head does not stop pounding and thoart hurts when I swallow. If could be mono or could be a STD. So I will have to find out Monday if I am not better.

That sounds rediculous, and I was complaining that I had a cold. Hope you feel better soon man and always remeber to wrap it before you tap it.

I don't think it's mono. I've had that and it was pretty serious but I never ended up throwing up. Just a awful feeling, soreness, fatigue and a few other things. I'm going with the STD. Get some rest, hope you feel better.

Same shit just happened to me... kidney infection, was pissing pretty nasty stuff too. I was out for 2 weeks with 102 fever and constant puking. The only thing I ate in 2 weeks was gatorade and meds.

Mono effects everyone differently. Some people can have it an not even know it, and some people have extreme symtpoms. It all depends on the person.

Yes, this I am very aware of.

However; vomitting is not something that usually follows Mono. I could see how you think it's Mono because of painful swallowing and headaches. The vomitting seems a bit extreme though.

have you tried webmd.com for any ideas as to what it might be? It sounds kinda like strep throat with the soreness and stuff.

Dunno, my friend lost like 40 lbs from mono. He vomited a lot, and could not eat anything.

I got a strep test and it came up negative.

They say I have pharyngitis which is basically a sore throat pissed off.
Signs: Sore throat, swallowing difficulty, lump in throat, fever, swollen glands, throat may be red, Body aches.

I have a red swoolen throat, body aches, swallowing difficulty, fever, swollen glands.

So That is what I have. I will feel better in 5 days, so I don't know if I can do a match Sunday. But I can get a match for the guys who will be on. Also I have not gone to practice in a couple of days or been on. I play bad when I am sick.
