This forum was opened in 2007 and after nearly 16 years needs to be retired. The forum software is long out of date and has become progressively harder to patch in order to run on newer hosting software. I have done what I can to get the forum up in a read-only view, but posting will remain broken. A few old members still hang out on Discord if you'd like to stop by to say hello.
Thanks for the memories. -Lhurgoyf

I didn't watch any Mavs-Warrios games before tonights. So I didn't see all the bad call games you're talking about. I guess if that's the case, what goes around comes around, and the Mavs got a little payback tonight?

in my opinion if a player openly admits to not giving 100%, then he should be either docked pay, or just flat kicked outta the league...i bet he expects 100% of his paycheck though don't he...and to tell the other team the play wtf!!

"As his Raptor tenure progressed, Raptor fans began to witness a transition in Carter's offensive game that featured more perimeter shooting. This was in stark contrast to Carter's initial repertoire of regular drives to the hoop for dunks which had subsequently gone on a decline. This, combined with Carter's chronic injury problems, predominantly from Jumper's Knee[13], had Raptor fans questioning his toughness & durability. Carter's work ethic was also questioned with his play declining as the years went on, culminating in a mediocre 15.9 points per game in 2004-2005 [14] and the team failing to make the playoffs. Carter became frustrated with the Raptors management team as he felt they failed to surround him with players who could help carry the load offensively.[citation needed] On November 22, 2004, when pressed by the local media about his lack of dunks, Carter responded, "I don't want to dunk anymore."[15]
In late December 2004, there were allegations that Carter tipped off the opposing Seattle SuperSonics (the Raptors' opponents on November 19, 2004) of an upcoming Raptors play by yelling "It's a flare! It's a flare!".[16]"
This is from Wikipedia.org, an unbiased source, only half the story really.

I was happy the Raptors won as well. That game OWNED! The loud as hell booing every time VC got the ball, or the "VC SUCKS! VC SUCKS!". That guy looked like he was ready to cry when he left the building.

go NETS!
V.C. is the man. Raptor fans are just mad, he was the best player to grace their team.
Nets would have won it and were very close to doing so with that shot. Thats what you can a good game, if games could be just like that, I would watch bball again, religiously.

VC is not the man. Yes, of course he was the best player on their team, he's vince carter, he's top 10 maybe top 5 in the league, WHEN HE WANTS TO BE. He openly admitted to not giving 100% while playing for the raptors, and for that he's a fag, why do you think toronto hates him so much? It's not only becuase he wanted to be traded. He never put forth effort playing for the raptors, go back and watch the tapes, he was soo lazy, it's unbeleivable. I use to watch every single raptors game. VC is useless. Imagine the moral on the team his last year, when your best player is being an idiot. He was good his 3 first seasons for Toronto.
He averaged 18.3 points per game his first season, 25.7 his second, 27.6 his third, and his last season with toronto 15.9, are you fucking kidding me, then he goes to NJ and averages 27.5, pretty much ties his best season with toronto, what HES ACTUALLY CAPABLE OF. VC IS NOT THE MAN.
and btw, Vince cost that game as far as I'm concerned, and I'm happy, he drove in with the ball with less than 10 seconds to go, all he needed was a 2-point or to get fouled to tie the game, instead he dishes out for somebody to take the 3 with no time remaining, nobody takes the 3 when you don't have to, it's a lower percentage shot, your goal at that point in the game is to put it into OT, no coach would tell their players to go with a 3 and go for the win. Goldenstate lost which sucks, but raptors win, and vince blew it, which makes me very happy. VC deserves a poor fate. That's reality.

Oh, and to say Vince Carter is the best player that ever graced the raptors could be just your opinion, statistically, Tracy Mcgrady pretty much matches Vince carter, and Marcus Camby is the best blocker in the NBA today, and 4th best defensive/offensive rebounder.

Not to mention the game where he walked over to the other bench, and TOLD them the play the Raptors were about to run, just so he could lose the game. He wanted to get fired, so he'd do all kinds of stupid shit to get fired. Like purposely throwing the ball away at the end of the game, to get a loss.

I was going for Denver since I live up here now, but I knew the Spurs would win. They're near unstoppable. This Lakers game isn't much better. It's pretty much one sided. Phoenix is raping LA.
Good games tomorrow night though!

Ya, the suns are just too deep, its like kobe and lamar vs, nash, amare, barbosa, bell, and marion. Even their bench is better. Hopefully the lakers invest some time and money into some new players for next season, I enjoy watching kobe play.
Think Goldenstate upsets Dalls tonight? It would be the biggest upset in nba playoff history :o
